The world premiere of the new HCL Domino V10 version was celebrated in Frankfurt/Main on October 9, 2018. After the platform was repeatedly declared dead, Notes Domino has had an unexpected comeback since autumn 2017! Through the cooperation with HCL Technologies, IBM has created additional development potential and capacities. HCL Notes and Domino are really picking up pace with a roadmap into the next decade and the releases of version 10 in 2018 and version 11 in December 2019.
The new versions 10 and 11 are faster, more modern, more economical and as safe as ever! Domino V10 has brought a lot of momentum to application development and the new strategy is fully in this direction to meet today's requirements of an agile and digital company with modern and secure application development! In addition to the many modernizations in the infrastructure, two points are particularly noteworthy: first, the availability of a native Notes client for mobile devices with iOS and Android named HCL Nomad. And second, the integration of JavaScript and Node.js as a modern development environment. This will advance application development on Domino immensely. And HCL Domino is still extremely economical with a very low TCO!
